The more we work with and wear our superfine merino the more reasons we find to love it! Here are some more natural properties of this fantastic fibre...
UV PROTECTION - Did you know that our merino has natural built-in UV protection? Even the superfine fabric used for our tops and dresses has a high SPF (sun protection factor) of 40. With the Sun's rays continuing to get stronger each year it is great to know that your clothing is protecting your skin with no extra effort required. We do of course still recommend the use of a good all over sun block.
This natural sun protection not only protects you but also aids colour fastness in the fabric which means your favourite skirt, dress, pants or top will continue to look great after many wears and throughout the seasons.
EASY CARE - We are always reminded of how brilliant our merino basics are whenever we travel. Packing is a breeze as each piece takes up minimal room in the suitcase and when rolled they come out pretty much wrinkle-free at the other end.
With the natural ability to minimise the build up of odour it means these separates stay fresher for longer so they need less washing in the first place. When it is time to launder they go straight in the washing machine with everything else and then to top things off, a quick line dry will see your favourite pieces right back where you want them, on your body!
We are often left wondering what we did before we had these easy care essentials in our lives and the short answer is that we probably spent a lot more time looking for the perfect mix and match basics. Valuable time that is now much better spent in comfort!
